New House Build: Lighting Selections

We’re 74 days until we close on the new house (it can’t come soon enough)!

We recently had our “trim walk through” to make sure everything was coming together – all of the electrical and plumbing work was completed, the drywall was up and we discussed the game plan leading up to the move-in date.

Prior to the walk-through we had to select all of our fixture choices from Wilson Lighting. We went for a transitional / modern look:

 

 

It was really hard to stay close to our allotted budget with the look we were going for (I’ll write a blog post once the house is done on how we navigated budgeting and design). But, for the most part we worked to make smart choices and fixtures with impact in strategic places.

We’re almost done with all of our planning meetings – and now the house is locked up now, so I won’t be able to post as many progress photos. But next up is our landscaping meeting – stay tuned for what we pick!
