It’s crazy to see how quickly things are coming together!
We had a chance to stop by the new house with Dan (our real estate agent with Group O’Dell) – we hadn’t been able to really scope everything out since our trim walk back on July 3. Drywall, hardwood floors, cabinets, and finishes are in the works.
Check out the progress:
Loving all of our kitchen cabinets (all of our cabinets will be painted white)
Lots of natural light from the back of the house
Love these pull out drawers on the sides of our cooktop – one is a spice/utensil rack and the other is for baking sheets
The start of built-in cabinets in our living room
Obsessed with our variated-width hardwood floors – dark stain comes soon
Walk-in pantry – this will be lined with built-in shelving
Full bath on the first floor off the kitchen
Love all of the windows on the main floor
View from the front entryway – stairs to the second floor and down to the basement
View from the second floor
Second floor hallway
Bedroom with window seat – love this!
Jack-and-Jill bathroom connecting secondary bedrooms
The other Jack-and-Jill bedroom
Second floor guest room with full bath
Guest bathroom
Master bedroom
Master bathroom vanity
So excited for a soaking tub – shower towards the right, walk-in closet other side of bathroom
Second floor laundry room storage
Second floor laundry room storage
Finished basement – not pictured: full bath, 1/2 of floorplan is unfinished storage
Basement bar-kitchen hybrid – love that we mimicked the island in the kitchen down here
So much trim, wide baseboards and crown molding
We upgraded to the 5-panel doors – giving the house some character
And one of my favorite things in this new house – a white, modern-looking farm sink
It finally feels like everything is coming together, and all of the millions of decisions (no joke) that we made over the last 7 months independently are all finally making sense now. Can’t wait to see the paint and tile finishes!
Love it
